Nim that compiles, passes, and is still wrong

Nim failures caught by compiler-run tests, and a blind study of what a cheap coding agent costs per solved Nim task.

  1. Nim =wasMoved: why a moved-from object segfaults on reuse

Nilling the pointer makes destroy safe and leaves reuse broken. Three ownership-hook rules pass review and ordinary tests, then segfault, run hooks on uninitialized memory or read freed memory.

  2. Cost per solved task: what a cheap coding agent really costs on Nim

With verified skills a low-cost model solved 18 of 20 hard Nim tasks, against 3 of 20 without. Each attempt cost more; each solved task cost about a quarter as much.

  3. Your Nimony release build swallowed the error

Debug raised; -d:release returned 42. Checking one agent skill against Nimony found three outdated rules and seven compiler bugs, all fixed upstream the next day.
