Terms of service

These terms govern the Verified Nim Skills subscription. Use of the catalog itself is governed by the commercial license. Personal data is handled as described in the privacy notice.

Who we are

The catalog is created, supplied and licensed by GERALIS A KAI SIA L.P., Makedonika, 34100 Chalkida, Greece; VAT EL802549752; G.E.MI. 178440622000 ("we"). Email: verified.nim@gmail.com.

Subscriptions are sold by Polar Software, Inc., 3500 South DuPont Highway, Dover, DE 19901, USA ("Polar"), as merchant of record. Polar's buyer terms govern the payment. These terms govern the subscription and its content.

What you buy

A subscription to digital content: read access, for one GitHub account per paid seat, to a private GitHub repository containing the catalog, including the corrections, re-verifications and new material added while the subscription is active. NYX, the tool that installs the catalog, is open source and separately licensed.

We do not promise a release schedule or a number of new skills. Some updates add skills; others correct, re-test, restructure or retire existing ones. Such changes cost you nothing extra. If a change materially and negatively affects your access to or use of the catalog, we will tell you in advance and, if you are a consumer, you may end the subscription free of charge within 30 days and receive a pro-rata refund of the unused prepaid period.

GitHub account and access

You need a GitHub account. You connect it through Polar's customer portal, and access is granted as a read-only invitation to the repository. Do not share access, invitations or credentials with others; each developer needs their own seat. Team subscriptions are for businesses: the buyer assigns seats to its developers and may reassign them.

Prices and billing

Prices are listed in USD on the pricing page. Listed prices include VAT where applicable; any other sales tax Polar must collect is shown with the total price before you pay. Polar processes the payment and issues invoices and receipts. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each monthly or yearly period, at the price shown at checkout, until cancelled. The founding yearly price is available for subscriptions started until 30 November 2026 and stays in place for as long as that subscription remains active; a cancelled subscription restarted later is charged the standard price. Team seats ordered by email are invoiced as agreed in writing, at the published per-seat price.

Cancellation

Cancel any time in the customer portal. Cancelling stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the paid period, then repository access is revoked. Versions you received remain usable under the license. We may end the service with at least 30 days' notice; you keep the versions received and we refund the unused part of any prepaid period.

Refunds and withdrawal

No refunds once repository access has been granted. The catalog is digital content you can download and keep, so access cannot be returned. This applies to first payments, renewals, monthly and yearly plans, and unused time in a period. The exceptions below always apply.

Right of withdrawal (EU and UK consumers). You normally have 14 days from the day of purchase to withdraw without giving a reason. At checkout you expressly ask for access to start immediately and acknowledge that you lose this right once access is granted; we confirm this in your order confirmation email. Access is granted when the repository invitation is issued to your connected GitHub account. Your consent covers the whole subscription, including renewals and plan or seat changes.

How to withdraw before access is granted. Within the 14 days, send us a clear statement, for example by email to verified.nim@gmail.com with the subject "Withdrawal", giving your name, the email used at checkout and the order number. You may use this model wording, but you do not have to:

I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract for the Verified Nim Skills subscription, ordered on [date], order number [number]. Name: [name]. Email: [email]. Date: [date].

We confirm receipt by email without delay. The full price is refunded within 14 days of your withdrawal, to the original payment method, at no cost to you.

Businesses. Purchases made for a trade, business or profession have no withdrawal right.

What always stays. Your statutory rights if the catalog is not supplied or does not conform to the contract (for consumers: bringing it into conformity, then a proportionate price reduction or termination with a refund), refunds of duplicate or erroneous charges, and your right to cancel future renewals at any time. Polar, as merchant of record, may also refund under its own buyer terms.

Refunded or charged-back payments. If a payment is refunded or reversed, the subscription ends, access is revoked, and the license to versions received under that payment ends; delete them.

Support

Bug reports and reasonable product questions are handled by email in the normal course. No SLA, guaranteed response time, consulting, custom skills, or guaranteed feature requests are included.

Quality and liability

The catalog is guidance for AI tools. It is tested against specific compiler versions, but it can be incomplete or wrong in places, and compiler behaviour changes. You remain responsible for reviewing and testing any code your tools produce. Quality and liability are as set out in sections 7 and 8 of the license. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms for legal, regulatory or product reasons. Material changes are announced by email at least 30 days before they apply, and apply to you only from your next renewal; you may cancel before then. The version and effective date are shown at the top of this page.

Complaints

Email verified.nim@gmail.com; we aim to reply within 14 days. We are not obliged to use, and do not commit to, an alternative dispute resolution body. If a complaint is not resolved, consumers in Greece can contact the Hellenic Consumer Ombudsman (Συνήγορος του Καταναλωτή), and consumers elsewhere in the EU the European Consumer Centre in their country.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Greek law. The courts of Chalkida, Greece, have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you habitually reside, and you may also bring proceedings in the courts of that country. If a provision is invalid, the rest remains in force.
