Billing questions

Who handles billing?

Polar is the merchant of record. It processes the payment, collects and remits VAT or sales tax, and issues invoices and receipts. We never see your card details.

Can I get an invoice with my company's VAT ID?

Yes. Enter your company name and VAT ID at checkout, or edit the invoice later in the customer portal. EU B2B purchases with a valid VAT ID are reverse-charged.

What happens when I cancel?

Cancel in the customer portal. Access lasts until the end of the period you paid for, then the repository invite is revoked. Installed skills stay and remain licensed for your use. Only updates stop.

Refunds?

No refunds once repository access has been granted: the files are yours to keep. EU and UK consumers can withdraw for a full refund before access is granted. Statutory rights for faulty or undelivered content always apply. See the refund terms.

Does the founding rate last?

Yes, $96 a year for as long as your subscription stays active. If you cancel and come back later, you rejoin at the current price.

Is Team cheaper per seat?

No, the price per seat is the same. Team adds one invoice for everyone and reassignable seats. Each seat is one developer with their own GitHub account. When someone leaves, the seat can go to someone else. Fewer seats lower the bill from the next period.

Is there a free trial?

No. Start monthly for the smallest commitment. Before you pay, the public skills show the format, the case studies show what the verification catches, and the benchmarks show the effect on agents.
